Have you ever heard the phrase “small but incredible?” I think this is the best way to describe Joyetech’s latest addition to its family. For its little size, it is amazing what this thing can do.
It is compact and fits easily into your hand. Its size makes it ideal for those who want to vape discreetly or for cigarette-quitters who want something basic.
Dry Burn Protection Technology
If you visit Joyetech’s website, you can see that the company boasts of the device’s dry burn protection. Now, what does Joyetech mean by that anyway? Well, this innovative feature aims to safeguard you from getting dry hits. The Exceed Grip is equipped with technology that prevents firing when the tank runs out of e-juice. While sometimes its power control can be a little aggressive, you can trust on the fact that this feature works.
Different Coil Heads
There are two coil heads available for this device: the EX-M 0.4ohm mesh replaceable coil and 0.8 ohms mesh internal coil. How do they differ? Will there be an effect on the taste and vapor production?
First off, the EX-M 0.4ohm changeable coil comes pre-installed. As for the clouds? Such a teeny tiny coil surely does a fantastic job on that part.
The draw is pretty smooth and easy, but the hit is restrictive when draws are intended for direct to lung (DTL). The flavor of the vape juices is decent, although I think it can still be improved.
On the other hand, the 0.8ohm mesh internal coil is a non-changeable mouth to lung (MTL) coil. Its wattage range is still the same as the previous coil at 10 to 13 watts, which is what this baby is designed for.
Although I held myself back from expecting a lot, this little MTL coil has excellent vapor production. However, I still have small problems when it comes to flavor, as some components appear to be muted. But if I were to choose between the two, I think I would go for this.
For both coils, I think the front (flavor) can be a bit of a disappointment, but the fact that they are solid solutions for a nicotine fix is a fair compromise on my part.
Under the hood, the Exceed Grip by Joyetech is packed with 1000 mAh built-in battery. I honestly did not expect it would be this much for such a small device, although its relative weight can attest to that fact.
For average vapers, I am certain that this would last long, say from night to day. For chain vapers, I think you will also not encounter any struggles with constant recharge with this device. Its low wattage output is a battery life saver.
I think this compact and portable device is packed with innovative features that ensure you can enjoy continuous vapor production. I think that the delivery of flavor needs some improvements. But if you are more of a cloud chaser, Joyetech Exceed Grip will not disappoint.
I highly recommend Joyetech Exceed Grip for transition vapers and nic salt lovers who are more of a cloud than a flavor chaser. Minus the flavor, this device is excellent on all other aspects.
